Associate Professor of GIR, Yuichiro Nagatsu received “2020 Award for Outstanding Paper in Fluid Mechanics” from The Japan Society of Fluid Mechanics (JSFM) on December 21, 2020. No paper was  awarded between 2014 and 2019; this is the first time to be awarded in seven years. The award ceremony and the award commemorative lecture were held at JSFM Annual meeting on September 21, 2021.
