Based on its paper award bylaws, the Phytopathological society of Japan presents this award to the authors of outstanding papers that have contributed to the advancement of plant pathology. Note that this award is limited to maximum two teams/persons within the same year.

In 2020, both the two papers written by faculty members/researchers of our University were selected for these paper awards.
