  • Overview

    The Japan-UK–Germany universities joining the research unit will conduct international collaborative research with TUAT and the University of Oxford (UK) and the University of Bonn (Germany). We focus our analysis on collagen destruction, which is involved in multiple bone disorders, and promote international collaborative research to develop preventive and therapeutic drugs for bone metastasis of cancer and osteoporosis. The research unit focus on the suppression of cancer metastasis and bone destruction using neutralizing antibodies and the suppression of bone destruction using antioxidants. The research results apply to industry-academia collaboration, for the development of preventive and therapeutic factors for musculoskeletal diseases such as locomotive syndrome.
