| Title | "PN/A with MABRs – current status and future perspectives"
Nitrogen removal via partial nitritation / anammox is already an established process that has mainly been implemented for the treatment of high-strength wastewaters employing different reactor concepts, e.g. SBRs (sequencing batch reactors). The Membrane Aerated Biofilm Reactor (MABR) also shows promising results and is on the verge of successful transition from pilot to full scale. This talk will introduce results from the first full-scale PN/A MABR worldwide that was commissioned and implemented in Germany. PN/A was established successfully and valuable experiences were gained over the course of the operation period. |
