Title | "Scale-adaptive Modeling of Coupled Natural-Human Hydrologic Systems"
Ensuring an adequate and sustainable supply of food, energy, and water (FEW) while enhancing disaster resilience is among the greatest challenges of the 21st century. This talk will present insights from studies on integrated FEW systems using hydrological, agricultural, and ecological models from global to local scales. Findings from transdisciplinary FEW systems research. Emphasis will be placed on modeling key water management activities and examining the pathways through which these human stressors impact hydrological, agricultural, ecological, and societal systems. |
