Dr. Patrick Rozier will introduce advanced structural analysis techniques such as X-ray and neutron diffraction, as well as pair distribution function analysis, to explore how local structural disorder can affect electrochemical performance. The talk will highlight recent insights into the mechanisms by which disorder influences ionic transport and redox behavior in complex electrode materials. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 【14:30~16:00】 ◆Dr. Pierre-Louis Taberna "Electrochemical Characterization Techniques for High-Performance Energy Storage Devices" <Abstract> In this lecture, Dr. Pierre-Louis Taberna will present a comprehensive overview of electrochemical methods used to evaluate high-power energy storage devices, including supercapacitors and advanced lithium-ion batteries. The talk will cover key characterization techniques such as cyclic voltammetry (CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and galvanostatic intermittent titration technique (GITT), with an emphasis on their practical application in material evaluation and device optimization. Through specific case studies, the lecture will illustrate how these techniques provide insights into rate capability, ion transport, and electrode stability. |
