SMART=Strategic Mobility Alliance Research Team

【ENERGY】 Pongsathorn Raksincharoensak Team

  • Overview

    To realize an energy-efficient with safety, security and sustainable mobility society, it is essential to improve vehicle energy efficiency and research and develop safety technologies. In addition, to realize the Green Growth Strategy and Innovative Environmental Innovation Strategy associated with carbon neutral related goal, the industry and transport sectors need to promote innovations such as innovative manufacturing processes and decarbonization technologies. Furthermore, with regard to the optimal design and verification of new types of mobility vehicles, the introduction of a digital twin using simulation technology in a virtual space is necessary, as there are limitations in terms of cost and other factors when using real roads and real objects.

    This strategic research team SMART is a new international research team to promote international joint research on ultralight near-future mobility aiming at high energy efficiency in mobility. The research team will solve carbon neutral challenges in the mobility research domain in several contexts of research. Through collaboration between renowned foreign researchers and the University’s faculty through international brain circulation, the team aims to establish a global network of smart mobility, materials and manufacturing, and international collaboration with the world’s most advanced research institutes in the discipline of future vehicle materials and automated driving control technology.
